Epilepsy
Epilepsy is common affecting 1:130 people – (children, young people and adults) so the chances are that you know somebody who has epilepsy even if you don’t know that they have it. Most people have their seizures controlled by medication and can lead a normal life.There are many different types of seizures eg brief blank spell lasting a few seconds, a period of unusual or inappropriate behaviour or falling to the floor unconscious and having jerking of all limbs.
