Training
Welcome to the training and learning programme for 2013-2014.
Working in partnership with a range of agencies, this training programme offers a valuable opportunity to support practitioners with ongoing professional development to ensure the highly skilled workforce that is needed to improve the health and wellbeing of our residents.
In response to stakeholder feedback, we are pleased to offer new and additional courses in our 2012/13 programme. These include Social marketing, Self esteem, Active play in early years, Young people and pornography and Smoking cessation and prevention.
Course applications are welcome from individuals and practitioners both within and outside of Portsmouth and in addition bespoke courses tailored to individual or your organisation’s needs can be provided.
We welcome any suggestions to help us develop the programme in the future as your feedback is important in ensuring the future training needs of the wider public health workforce are met.
